Ditto. I already saw that episode before I noticed this thread. Very funny. I wasn't sure how they'd present the topic, but I thought the writers did a great job overall.
Except I agree that a lot of people, myself included, would welcome "reverse immigration." It wouldn't be a "crisis" like what was portrayed in the episode. More like a blessing

It would be nice to return to the homeland, which for me would be Norway.
We have plenty of legal immigrants and less educated Americans or our youth looking for entry level jobs to take these low paying jobs but the employers choose illegal aliens instead to increase their profits and that is just the bottom line. Most of the above three catagories don't think that they are too good for these jobs.
My son has been trying for months to get a part-time job to earn money while in college. Contrary to popular belief, there are still young people who want to be responsible and earn their own money. And, he's willing to accept any honest work. . . bagging groceries, fast food, restaurant server, etc. Guess what? He's still waiting to be called, and he's a very intelligent, well-groomed, and personable young man. His dad or I could get him a job, but he doesn't want our help, and I applaud him for that. Fortunately, he doesn't "have" to work. But, I feel sorry for those who really need the money to make ends meet.

I did all of "those jobs" I've swept floors at machine shops, I've worked in the chicken coupes. I've worked at the blue beery farms, I was a dishwasher, and bus boy. To say that Americans don't want or will never take those jobs is a bunch of horse hocky
