Five immigrants among the group later told investigators that as they were driving Sunday night, two or more camouflage-clad gunmen appeared and yelled “Alto!” Spanish for “Stop,” fired at them and ran away, Barkman said.

Motive unknown in killing of 2 illegal immigrants ambushed by camouflage-clad men - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/motive-still-unknown-in-killing-of-2-illegal-immigrants-ambushed-by-camouflage-clad-men/2012/04/12/gIQA0KqPDT_story.html - broken link)

The article seems to want to imply that these Spanish speaking gunmen were likely anti-illegal vigilantes. Sure......

This was just another incident of cartel smuggling groups fighting over the illegals being smuggled over.

So a simple word in Spanish negates the clothing more commonly worn by border watching groups?...

If the cartel wanted to kill someone (and was able to positively identify which group they were with in those circumstances), there would have been none of them left alive...

IF vigilantes did the deed: there'd be NO witnesses left either.

Who ever it was needs to be caught and dealt with regardless if it was Mexican drug dealers or misguided American vigilantes .

Cartels or racist assassins, it's to early to tell at this point, hopefully they find out soon.

Sounds like another botched job from the Eric Holder gang to me. You know,
The dummies that brought us "Fast & Furious" a while back.

"...fired at them, and ran away..."

That doesn't sound like a cartel to me...

This is just another jumping to conclusions case just like the Zimmerman/Martin one. Why not wait until the facts are all in?
