To me the sickest thing about illegal immigration is that it hurts our legal immigrants and poor the most. They are the ones with the double digit unemployment and they followed the rules. This is not the message that we want to send our young – cheat an succeed! Why have laws if we allow people to break those laws?

You can try to side track this argument claiming white racist – but some fat cat whites and others are the ones that live off this under the counter flow of cash. They want this to continue and they will fund the effort to styme any plans to stem the flow of illegal immigration.

This issue blurs party and race. Unions, African Americans, legal immigrants, middle class workers of all stripes all have legitimate reason to be wary of illegal immigrants. And there are Republicans as well as Democrats who want to preserve a stream of cheap, unaccountable labor. The illegal movement is doing a better job of propaganda of sympathy in the public relations arena. That propaganda to generate sympathy is something opponents need to match.

Of course LEOs are just all racists. Just more leftist talking points about evil racist cops. The demonization of law enforcement is baffling, it's not just this article but I see threads aplenty on this forum disparaging police officers often. I don't think pro-illegal immigration leftists on here and out in the world realize that border protection is crucial. It's not just about the Mexican dad who wants to make a "better life for his family" but about criminals, narco drug gangs, and even Islamic terrorists can move freely through a porous border. If ICE agents can't do their job it's a loss for all of us.

You make excellent points. I have seen this same unwarrented demonization of our law enforcement officials outside of this forum also. The lawsuit should be allowed to stand on its own merit regardless of whom is behind it or what connections they may or may not have.
