Arpaio keeps heat on migrants
Sheriff lauds success of crackdown; critics fear profiling, intimidation

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has ratcheted up his attack on illegal immigrants in recent weeks, using federally trained deputies to arrest dozens of undocumented day laborers and corn vendors.

Word of the arrests has spread like wildfire through the immigrant population, driving some undocumented workers out of Arizona and raising concerns that crimes against illegal immigrants and others will go unreported because of deportation fears

I believe that poster is making a point that not all illegals running scared are just corn vendors.

As far as my knowledge serves me, MS-13 stands for Mara Salvatrucha. They're predominantly a Salvadorian gang.

Perhaps if you followed the enforcement actions of Arpaio, you would have noted the arrests of a number of gang members -

Regardless if they are "day workers" or "corn vendors" - if they are in this country illegally, they are subject to arrest and deportation

Sheriff Arpaio is enforcing the law

Nothing more
