“Send them back where they came from.”

Since The Daily first reported that a foreign-born, Hispanic Wayne Farms worker had active tuberculosis disease, I’ve received dozens of e-mails and phone calls with that message.

For the moment, let’s assume that every Hispanic working at the Wayne Farms fresh processing plant is an illegal immigrant. What would happen if we “sent them back where they came from”?

The plant employs 849, and most are Hispanic, according to Wayne Farms spokesman Frank Singleton.

Yeah, it would open up jobs for Americans and the illegals could be treated for TB in Mexico at the Mexican's expense. A win win situation.

ALso, the farmers would have to pay real wages, just like most other American businesses. This in itself would attract American workers.

What is the problem?

If we had more states with the guts of Oklahoma we could drive the illegals out of this country pretty quickly. If there were no "sanctuary" cities and/or states, no jobs and no "freebies", Mexico would start looking pretty good again. I don't see a problem.

It would reduce the possiblity of TB epidemic.

It would reduce the spending in social services and healthcare.

It would ease the burden on hospitals and clinics

It would reduce the number of babies being granted automatic citizenship simply because they are born on this soil; something I deem totally wrong.
