Looks like Brown is pandering again to try and win the Latino vote, absolutely disgusting. Kashkari is looking like a much better choice everyday.

Isn't anybody going to take mbell's concern seriously here?
It isn't like he whines and warns everyday, you know. This is different.
Really.

How is it whining? It is a legitimate concern when you hear your governor making speeches like that. What on earth is he thinking

We need to take care of the mess we have in the US which a lot of it is attributable to allowing people to come to the US with little to no education, with little to zero employable skills and don't even speak our language.

I like the way Australia keeps economic drain out of their country. You are not allowed to immigrate there on a long term or permanent bases unless you have an employable skill. Seems reasonable to me.

Not a Perry fan but he is right on when he said why are we giving incentives for people from Central America to come here? We don't offer that to other nations why are we offering it to Central Americans?

I moved from California. California's future is just too unpredictable.

TVC, havent you figured it out yet? Thats the libturd strategy, if you cite legitimate concerns that go against their narrative, they just brush aside your arguments as if they dont exist and pretend everything is hunky dory. Also Australia is also surrounded by ocean which helps by default keep people out. Though like you say TVC, Australia doesn't let anybody just come into their country and start making absurd demands, they actually enforce their immigration laws like everyone else except the US.

And then there's the millions of us Californians for whom life IS hunky-dory - in large parts because we don't stress out about problems that we know can be worked through - uh, because that's what life is: working through challenges while maintaining quality attitude, knowing that life is pretty sweet if you take it easy on the freaking out stuff
