I just had a thought. There has been an uptick in illegal immigrants at the border that are not from Mexico yet herald from Central and South America. Now that is a long walk or a ride on the roof of a train.
Is the Mexican Gov. helping these people cross their country?
Imagine if we started seeing the immigrants from South and Central America walk through the US like they do Mexico so they can get into Canada.
I wonder what the response from Canada would be if suddenly they had thousands of illegal immigrants swarming into their country?

Canada is very tough on illegal immigrants. If you are there illegally and not a valid refugee, then you are placed in detention and subject to removal immediately following your appearance before an Immigration Judge. As an illegal you are given no access to any benefits, healthcare etc.
And where do you get the impression Canada is a liberal country? They take care of their own and believe that the least of these in society should be assisted but it isn't a free ride like you find with SNAP, TANF etc. in the U.S. The only thing more liberal than the U.S. is single payer insurance.

Yeah we're so liberal we encourage illegals to come up here and change our tires, lube our cars, change our diapers, mow our lawns, clean our pools and anything else that might allow us to fake a better lifestyle than we can actually afford.
We're so liberal we issue them driver's licenses allow them to collect welfare, give them cellphone plans, allow them to commit crimes and stay, give them not one, but perhaps up to four amnesties.
Oh wait.......Canada has laws and actually enforces them, I must be confusing Canada with some other far more liberal nation who pretends to be something else.
My opinion would be they would get turned back at the border because we don't desire diaper changers, tire changers, landscapers, roofers, and any other method of cheap labour to assist us in faking a higher lifestyle than we can actually afford.
We do not issue driver's licenses, welfare assistance, cellphones, routine medical care to those who enter illegally and we do not care where the h*** they came from.
We have laws and actually enforce them. There's only one nation I know of that encourages illegals to move there. They'll stay where they've been encouraged to come to and where they've been, up til now, welcomed.

Canada is a liberal country, but we are not stupid. We have a effective Immigration program, that requires all applicants to be fully investigated... Before they arrive at our border.
We also have a system that requires all employers to ask for and see the job applicant's visa and Social Insurance Number card, and verify that they are in Canada legally. You can't open a bank account, rent a place to live, get a driver's license, put your kids in school, or get a credit card, with out proving that you are "entitled to be in Canada ". Compare that to the way that things are done in your country.
And while we are talking about illegals.............Guess which country supplies the most illegals in Canada.........wait for it......The good old USA. That's right.
Guess your argument has quite a lot of holes in it.......And finally , for some one to "walk up to Canada" they first have to get into YOUR country, right? How about this for an idea, take care of your own backyard, before you make stupid cracks about others ?
Are you kidding? The USA could take a few pointers in actually enforcing immigration laws and prioritizing their own citizens and lawful immigrants first. And in managing to do it without uncouthly insulting entire ethnic groups.

I agree with Canada's immigration laws we should follow them. If it is mostly Americans illegally in Canada is that a surprise since we share a border with them? However, I'd be willing to bet that you don't have 12 million plus Americans illegally in Canada

If it is mostly one or two ethnic groups here illegally then I don't find it insulting to point that out or their negative impact on our country. It's not insulting to an entire ethnic group either when so many are here legally also.
Then Canada just needs to keep all illegal aliens OUT, including Americans. Period.
