SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador — Attorneys general in Central America expressed concern Thursday over comments from their U.S. counterpart suggesting increased deportations of gang members by the United States.
El Salvador Attorney General Douglas Melendez said his country, Honduras and Guatemala need to be prepared to deal with more gangsters. Transnational gangs like Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, are already blamed for staggering violence in those so-called Northern Triangle countries.
Unfortunately, deporting MS-13 members to El Salvador simply made the problem worse, since the Salvadoran government was ill-equipped to deal with them.

We should still kill them on sight. They're not even a gang anymore, they're a multinational paramilitary organization.
They couldn't have even started in LA if they hadn't snuck in here from El Salvador.

That's not our fault! If they were deported, then they were here illegally. Are you saying our citizens should take the brunt of these machete wielding monsters because our law enforcement can deal with it?

NOT our problem. The US has plenty of nasty people but since their kind are US citizens, we CAN'T deport them.
Having been to El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Honduras I can tell you I would not be caught walking the street in of those countries after dark and I hesitated to walk even in the day time in most areas around the hotels I stayed in. The crimial element is a real problem in all of those countries and the governments seem to be inept in dealing with the problem. The only country I was not intimidated in was Costa Rica and Panama. Strangely enough Costa Rica has no standing army.....

I've heard a LOT of good things about Costa Rica. Panama: maybe despite it also being "Hispanic", it had a STRONG "anglo" rule of law vibe which helps, I don't know.
There are many streets in our own country that are not safe to walk during the day and/or night, in many cases, this has to do with our open border. This is where our interest needs to be, in making our streets safe. We are too often all up in the business of foreign countries while our own citizens struggle in so many ways.
These 3rd world citizens bring their issues here with them. They need to go home and take care of their own house there! They need to work on their own problems and demand changes rather than come here and ride our coattails! Many of our citizens have died, suffered and worked their butts off so that our country could be as it is. These foreigners need to do the same.

Ha, ha that is funny...so we in the US are more well equipped....I guess Long Island lost the memo.
On the Tucker Carson show last night he said 93% of MS-13 members in Long Island were in the country illegally. The guest, an open border advocate, could not/would not dispute the figure. I wonder what the % is in LA county.
