Personally, the border should be secured before we do anything like mass deportations, etc. They will just come back if we dont get that border tightly closed and guarded.

Put laws in place which fine employers, no more jobs for illegals = self-deport. Then put a enforce border up.

[mod Cut: off topic]

Like I have said before, I am not for illegal immigrants in this country. I ask for the government to enforce its own laws, which they are not doing at this moment.

Your relatively new to the immigration thread, and were apart of the cultural bash chaos and unfortunately took a lot of things the different way.

Hmmmm, I forgot an "other/no opinion" option. Oh well, guess you will have to make up your mind.

I know that a lot of people think the fence will work, in my opinion it will cost a lot of money and still not keep them out. They will find a way to go over, under or around it. When people feel desperate they are willing to take desperate measures.

The fence has proven to slow down the number of illegals seeking to cross the border illegally.

As for those here already, some law enforcement agencies are now doing "sweeps" into neighborhoods that are known to house illegals. Numerous arrests that result in deportations are happening.

All a very good thing
