From what I have read and seen Anchorage is not a sanctuary city. In order to get to Alaska (unless they are flying) you have to come through Canada and go through border inspections and Canada is real tough with these. Have not seen the problem yet in Alaska, however, give it time.
Few Mexican coyotes are willing to cross the US border TWICE....therefore, few can be counted on to escort folks as far as Alaska. Such a move would probably involve the services of a CANADIAN coyote (don't know what they're called...perhaps 'wolves'?)...
The Fed can't do that -- they need those cities to funnel all that welfare money through . . .

Not so long ago; Jim Crow laws were enforceable in the USA-------and, at least one Latin American country (Peru perhaps?) had similar rules banning indigenous/Mestizos from the so-called 'White' areas as well about 50 years ago.

Houston is on that list, because police cannot stop somebody and ask their immigration status. If the cops get them for anything else, their status is checked when jailed. If they are not legal, ICE is notified. The former mayor also used e verify. E verify will be voted on in committee tomorrow. If you have an opinion, contact a congressman on the committee.
