Here you can pay with pesos at quite a few establishments. But we're right up next to Mexico, so that's natural.

Legal immigration needs to be reformed. Instead of so much of it consisting of family chain migration and too heavily from one nation, it would be better to change it to more employer sponsored immigrants.

All sponsors of immigrants should be required to provide health care insurance, and it should not just be a 5 year wait to access the welfare handouts. At least those bringing the immigrants in should be required to pay for them, they should never become the responsibility of the American people. We need to make sure any immigrant coming in has the ability to provide for themselves and any family brought in.

It's also important that only those who wish to become American, who have the ability and willingness to learn our language, to assimilate are brought in, and certainly there are enough people throughout the world who would be that.

If we need immigrants, we don't need them all from one country but we should have a balanced mix.

Very true. The MASSIVE influx of illegal aliens is the impetus for this sentiment. Contrary to your belief, we do not have infinite space or resources to accommodate everyone in the world wishing to make the USA their home. Something has to give. Try squeezing a 300 pound woman into a size 6 dress, and you’ll get an idea of our dilemma.

As you stated and very well too I might add.
