Of course it works... its simple physics... path of least resistance... I have ALWAYS supported it... but it is NOT the only solution, we also need employee-based checks... that will make the number go to almost ZERO... as well as cracking down on work visas... the only time a work visa should be issued is when there is essentially 0% unemployment in the US...

There was heavy automatic fire at border guards think last night . It has been going for awhile.

I dont know why its not taken care of as some sort of terrorism.
If they werre from Middle east they would be categorized as terrorist .
A chopper or 2 with few door gunners would put a fast end to this and future shootings.

I would hate to be a border guard and have to endure this now daily without the gvmt backing me up.

As you stated..........

Frankly; it is going to take some sort of atrocity against Americans on US soil to goad the stupids in Wash DC into getting serious.

As soon as the troops hit US soil it should be straight to the Northern and Southern borders.

Tough call.............as it stands: the RCMP has limited jurisdiction here in the USA.

Some years ago there was a bomb situation in a Wash St town 20 miles from BC; the US cops were all tied up with a mess in Seattle (some variety of protest) so the Canadians sent some experts 'SOB' to handle the explosives.

Point to a time where there has been 0% unemployment in the U.S. Restricting work visas is only going to make the problem worse.
