This one hit close to home and is NOT surprising. I have personally witnessed the destruction of the Antelope Valley by various "people". Just imagine the money we have flushed on this one case already.

Event may have been the wrong word, I meant the entire thing. You would not have read it, I would not have posted about it, the reporter would not have worked on it, the feds would not have mounted an investigation on it, the people would not have been beaten, the perpetrators would not have committed I am sure dozens or hundreds of other crimes, if the whole lot of them simply were not occupying this space. Multiply this "event" by millions of other things that simply should not have happened, because the border should have been bolted shut 60 years ago.
yes it is sad when people are preyed upon. this should have never of happened.
its sad, but at this point people should not be ignorant of the possibilites and dangers that come with border crossing.
its the old adage: YOU KNEW I WAS A SNAKE WHEN YOU PICKED ME UP.
its sad that this stuff happens. but even knowing this, people still try. its tough for them.
trully sad.
im glad they were rescued. kidnapping is not nice.
and now they will probably get citizenship, or temp residency, in order to testify against their captors. might work out in their favor after all. a few lumps on the head and voila, citizenship!
