Why aren't we calling these people terrorist?

The Zetas are unique among drug enforcer gangs in that they operate as “a private army under the orders of Cardenas’ Gulf Cartel, the first time a drug lord has had his own paramilitary. The Zetas have been instrumental in the Gulf Cartel’s domination of the drug trade in Nuevo Laredo, and have fought to maintain the cartel’s influence in that city following the arrest of Cardenas. The Zetas’ activities are not limited to defending the Gulf Cartel’s terrain in northern Mexico. The paramilitary force is also believed to control trafficking routes along the eastern half of the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Zetas are believed to be a serious threat to public safety on both sides of the Southwest border. They are well-financed and well-equipped and have demonstrated a willingness to shoot, torture, and kill law enforcement officers, or rival cartel and gang members on both sides of the border. Federal law enforcement officials deem the Zetas among the most dangerous criminal enterprises in the Americas.

This was inevitable. It was only a matter of time before the carnage spilled over on our side of the border. Unfortunately, this will not be confined to the border, because the drug cartel tentacles reach far and wide. Their savagery has no bounds, as evidenced by the murder of children. Even the most hardened criminals generally consider children to be off-limits.

Chiapas was a completely different thing. The open border is controlled by violent criminal gangs. They rule the border and much of the blame goes to US officials who chose to allow them to do so. We haven't enforced the border, we allowed criminals to take it over, use it as they please. And yes, because many have been bought off, it's about corruption.

With Obama in charge? Probably nothing.

Mexico could take over half of the country and he would still be twiddling his thumbs waiting for his teleprompter to tell him what to say while he does his "uhh and uhh ...." over and over.

That is very true, legalize the illegals/reduce border security/immigration enforcement and they will be forever loyal that president's party hence the reason both the Dems and the Reps pander to the Hispanic community.

It's actually sickening that citizens of foreign nations have better representation on Capitol Hill and in the White House then we do! If they don't cut out the crap this whole issue will lead to a second civil war ... and all because of some greedy politicians who wanted more votes and some big business executives who wanted cheaper labor.
