They're trying to make illegal immigrants untouchable by crying out racism and profiling. To the point to where enforcement agencies can't evem act on suspicions or tips or just common sense. Yes, there are racists out there who will abuse their power, but what about when you live in an area that it is common knowledge that a majority of the Hispanic population is not legally there? You can't check for documents or legal status? The fact that he is correct in many of his busts should tell them something about his intent and his methods. And the messed up thing about that video is that the reporter has the nerve to try to paint the illegal immigrants in that truck/van as not looking like criminals. What does how they look have anything to do with them committing a crime? Are we giving illegal immigrants a pass now just because they look sad or not like a criminal? What does that even mean, do all criminals have a look to them? No. Plus, they could be criminals in the country that they fled from.
And I'm not even done with the video.
This reporter is a smart alleck as well. He is trying to throw in all kinds of clever lines to add to his story, especially the one where he tries to make a crack at Arpaio's weight.
The idiot on abc news was saying that the sheriff remaind defient because he wouldn`t back down to gov orders. Good for him for standing up to what is right.Most of our govern could care less about the problems that illegal img has brought to this country. Also, the guy on abc news says that they don`t look like criminals.What are criminals suppose to look like?

Neither did Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Richrad Ramirez, John Wayne Gacey, Tim McVeigh, and many others.I would guess that Sheriff Joe knows more about what criminals do, or do not, look like than that reporter.Acting guilty, or fleeing from law enforcement might be a good indication.
