Hector got busted on gang charges and is now in prison
It just es not fair
I got my food stamp and my welfare
My Mama is illegal and she don' care
That I dropped out of school in da' 8th grade
an' am now livin' in da' taxpayer's nightmare.

with the dimming of the sky into twilight
he cries out at the darkness with all comsumming fright
the world of his fantasy is failing his reality
no longer do his words have brutality
he frails out at the darkness, unable to control his destiny
It envelopes his here and now...never will he return to his boyhood dream
of world beholding to his every command
to have to share power was never his plan
