MONTEREY Tennessee -- Four people currently in managerial and supervisor positions at the Monterey Perdue plant and two former employees are named in a class action lawsuit recently filed against the company in regards to an illegal immigrant hiring scheme.
The suit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama Southern Division on behalf of all hourly-paid workers legally authorized to be employed in the U.S. who are or have been employed by Perdue Farms Inc. since March 2006 and involves HR personnel and plant managers at 16 Perdue plants.
