I don't understand how Bristol township, which is bigger then the city of Yorkville, can be on here but the town of Bristol is not. All surrounding cities have been annexing Bristol as soon as a business wants to buy land located here.
Yet Bristol is still here. Why?? Because if they wanted to take over Bristol that would mean giving us city water and sewer. I'm tired of big cities trying to eat up the little towns that are still somewhat peaceful. Towns where you don't have to worry about your dog being hit by a car if you don't put it on a leash. Or if you forgot to lock your door its no big deal. Places where you know your neighbor. Anyone get what I'm saying? ![]() |
