New unions are frequently good, old unions are usually bad. If you're being paid to increase the wages and benefits of the people you represent it's very hard to accept things like pay cuts.

Justy look at the IL economy. This is a major anti-business pro-union state and that's why businesses are moving out in droves. And, most move to the southern states which are right to work states that can't force people to join the unions. I agree that unions had their prupose back in the day and we have a lot of benefits thanks to them but they are very harmful now to our economy. Nowadays, they tend to protect the most lazy and unproductive workers. Just my opinion from my experiences.
