We moving to north east Indiana.
With husband, 12 yr old and 2 yr old.We will be visiting Michigan often.Hubbys work is in auburn.Loooking for a nice area to live between Michigan border and Fort Wayne.With friendly good schools.This is my first posting in a forum and I am assuming I have "the thread" in the wrong place

Places between Michigan and Fort Wayne. Well, the two communities I would recommend are Auburn itself and Angola. Both are smaller towns but have enough amenities so you don't have to travel to a major city to get. Angola is nice and attracts many people from out of state because of all the lakes around the area. It is also closer to Michigan and Ohio. Auburn is slightly bigger and may have a little more in terms of eateries, stores, etc. However, you really can't go wrong with either one of these towns. I would prefer Angola though.
