I happen to agree about the gangbangers. TOS expressly prohibits personal attacks -- even if they are richly deserved. Debate the idea; do not attack the poster because you will win the infraction.
Chicago Traffic is bad. LA traffic is miles worse i do agree there.
Also spot on what i was saying.
I dont mind a DEBATE but i do mind Personal Attacks and ganging up with personal attacks.

There is no such thing as due diligence when it comes to this state government. Everything looks great ON PAPER and that's all that matters anymore.

Use the real name for the state that has a capital called Sacramento and then I'll start mob investigating ...

I dont know why people are upset about this.
Indiana didnt lose anything. No Tax credits or giveaways could be given unless bob created jobs lol.
and the local incentives are no longer valid so i dont see a reason there either.

The point is that the current administration is famous for doing this crap.

Big questions swirl around big Indiana business projects - 13 WTHR Indianapolis

what ever happened to the common sense notion of getting ducks in a row before letting them loose?

Here's the thing, people expect the state to work miracles or do things outside of its scope. Any state can only make its geographic area attractive to businesses. It's still up to private enterprise to get things off the ground and moving forward. If a state like Indiana offers incentives tied to meeting milestones, so be it. As long as it is not money given away, no harm no foul since they are tied to said company achieving its goals. In the case of LiteBox, they didn't meet their goals, the state is not out one thin dime due to that. Do you all seriously think LiteBox is the only failure? Companies fail and go under or never truly get out of the gate all the time and Indiana isn't the only state guilty of incentives based on goals. Not every business will be successful and some just fail. That's life. Sometimes we benefit like in Rolls Royce and sometimes we fail as in American Airlines Maintenance hub at IIA. LiteBox appears to be a failure, it's just a failure hoosier taxpayers aren't paying for unlike the hub.

Like I said, we do it all the time: http://www.ibj.com/covance-plans--15.../article/35213

obviously, you have no clue that the john mellencamp industry creates more jobs every year than any of the major record labels in LA.

further, if the government had not outlawed blast fishing on lake monroe in the early 80s we would have the most thriving inland seafood industry in the midwest.

finally, you can list as many economic stats as you like, but no one cares. typical ploy of a lefty liberal full of university indoctrination with no real experience.

california's gdp is equivalent to italy, or spain. so what? the devil is in the details, not detached pie in the sky stats. if california is so great for businesses, then why does noodles & company operate 15 restaurants in indiana compared to only 7 in california?

no answer? didn't think so. indy is the future.

I saw that last night. I do feel for him and his family, but I'll remember him for making Ballard and Daniels look foolish.
