I'll start. Driving daily around the highways of Indy it has become evident that exits and on ramps off 465 on the north side at a road between Michigan Ave. and Meridian is a wise idea. The congestion at Meridian during the rush hour is terrible.

Another one should be situated on I 70 east and west between the Mount DisComfort and Greenfield Route 9 exits and on ramps. I've seen so many car accidents shut down the highway in that area, having an outlet to re route traffic at those times would be beneficial.

I agree with an exit between Meridian and Michigan. My thoughts aren't a new exit, but upgrades to a current exit, at 96th St and I69. That whole area is a nightmare. I don't know exactly how they could do it, but maybe slide Corporation/Hauge intersection away a few hundred feet or yards might ease some of the congestion.

They need to make a double exit lane for michigan, meridan, and allisonville rd exits.

I'm not a fan of the on ramp from 31 to 465 … I feel like I'm surrounded by matchsticks. I truly love taking Keystone to 465.

You'll be relieved to hear they are all broken. LOL I drive by there daily and recently noted they've all been broken probably due to the snow plows throwing snow on them or hitting them. Now another problem though. Potentially if they are not easily visible, people can drive into or over them damaging their cars.

That will be changing in a year or so anyway when they upgrade 31 through Carmel to remove the stoplights. They're already working on building two new flyover ramps, one from SB 31 to EB 465 and one from EB 465 to NB 31

Living in Fishers, my interchange request would be I-69 and 126th St. Why they didn't factor one in when they widened 126th St is beyond me. As it is, it's 5 miles from 116th St/SR 37 to the next exit all the way out at Hamilton Town Center. I think an exit at 126th St would take some congestion away from the SR 37 interchange.

They are putting in an interchange in the next couple of years at 106th St and I-69. That may help 96th St a bit because all the traffic from that Crosspoint office park will be able to use the 106th St interchange instead of 96th St.

This is a photo I shot while in Dallas. You could build a exiting tower ramp rising from the center of I-465 northbound (clockwise direction) that will split for exiting > To I-65 N. (Chicago) and To I-65 S. (Downtown). The towering I-65 N./S. bound exit ramp could ascend along the center of I-465 between 38th and 56th street exits. Forcing drivers to do a turn around at the W. 71st Street exit just to go south is an absolute senseless waste of time. I know there is a gun range on the other side but this would solve the problem. The ramp could also rise above 56th Street bridge since it doesn't have a north bound exit. You can put some stars on the columns and light them up at night with different colors (blue, purple etc.) now that would be cool. I would like to see art work on the interchanges like they do in Texas.
