Over a year ago, when I first started a Facebook account, I was banned from posting video due to my uploading copyrighted video from YouTube. At the time, I didn't really care that much. But now I have a baby with footage that my family wants to see, and lessons that I've taught that I would like to upload, etc. Since so much time has gone by, is it possible to have this privilege reinstated if I promise never to upload copyrighted material again? Or am I banned from uploading any videos on FB forever and ever? Is there a way to contact FB to discuss the issue verbally? I get no response on their FB message board/troubleshooter...
We are not the ones to be asking, we didn't ban you. Contact FB support. I doubt there's any way to actually talk to anyone, you'll just have to try different channels.
Agree with Mike. YouTube is the much better solution. Much easier to share. People don't NEED anything (like to be members of Facebook) to view them. You can't share a video from Facebook to people that don't have it. Why limit your audience, especially for your lessons?
You can change your IP address. Google it for instructions. Once you change your IP, FB won't know who you are. You can probably also go to a library and use their public terminals to establish a new FB account. I think once it is established, you can access your account from your home computer.
