Greek elections on June 17 are going to pan out...the polls think the pro bailout party is going to win, the markets are going to fly high once the pro bailout party wins.... we could see DOW 13,000+

That is my prediction

Short term, this may be true. But wouldn't this simply be kicking the can down the road?

Why not have a market correction and let the market bail itself out?

Greece's troubles will not be over just because the pro bailout party wins, and neither will Europe's. I think you are dreaming.

I didn't say Greece's troubles will be over, I said the market will soar - different things.

The market soars on short term good news.

13,000 huh? A whole 500 some points? I don't consider that soaring. This market could do that in two or three good days and then pull back just as fast, all regardless of what Greece does. I'm holding for Dow 20,000 - now THAT would be soaring! The real 2012 rally will start in November when we get a new president.

Not if they cut their own interest rates they are paying to zero and stop buying weapons from Germany.

Both those screw Germany, but someone is going to be screwed because the math simply does not work, as is.

And when it comes to someone getting screwed those things are always better there than here. Wherever here or there may be.

the market soared from around october of last year to april of this year and that was mainly a rebound from the huge sell off in the third quater of 2011 , we,ve only had something like a 7% correction since april , another 7% pullback is very likely untill BB pours some sugar

nothing is in the markets favour at the moment , china is slowing , europe is in rescession , the usa is less healthy than was thought three months ago and besides , the greek - spain - euro banking crisis will drag america down no matter what happens , the financial world is only as strong as its weakest link , the only thing the S+P has going for it right now is the election in november but its too early for that to become a factor

if you can correctly predict the market, you are not a human.
