I think people are going to go home today and read the news and freak out and next week will be a wild ride.

Have no idea. Could be up and could be down, but am fairly certain we're in the latter stages of this long bull market.

There was a sell off, but not b/c they don't like what's coming up. Just the opposite. And not even a jump off a cliff, more of a stub of the toe.

The stock market actually went sideways for 23 months from December 2014 - November 2016. That's what throws off the whole analysis.

It had the effect of a mini- bear market.

Market technicians measure from the bottom after the Great Recession.

2018 Economic Calendar

JOLTS on Tue., Consumer Credit on Wed. along with mortgage applications, Jobless claims on Th.,

This is not even a blip on people getting ready to retire. Their retirement accounts, mainly benchmarked against the S&P (in general) are still UP 5.5% YTD!

I know, but being flat for nearly 2 years wasn't much of a bull market during that period.

Why? Personally I hope it is a wild very moving market. I'll make a ton trading. But, what in the news is break out the MRE's worthy? It was a 2.5 & 2% move on BOTH the .DJI & .INX (S&P)
