apparently ray lost his home and had to move in with his son . he suffered a heart attack as well . i used to like watching his show . he was barred from the industry after claiming back testing in his books that was never done .

his books supported using a bucket system ,which he documented to show superior performance over just raising cash by rebalancing directly , which turned out to be not true when actually back tested .

in fact using buckets have been shown to produce worse results financially , although mentally they can provide comfort .

his appeal was denied as well by federal courts .

after the incident his shows could not get many sponsors to support them .

he is doing the show himself still on biz radio , so he seems to be fine . i just listened to fridays show . it is the first time in years i listened. looks like the whole brain trust may be no longer part of the show .
