Margin % drop was the main disappointment, but the explanations made sense.

But man, the new cells production news and self driving stuff making me feel really bullish.

I’m really thinking hard about buying the refreshed Model S.

I LOVE what they did. The interior is minimalistic and futuristic.
I also like the fact that they didn't mess with the outside too much. I think to introduce a whole new body/design would have been a mistake.

Ps. GET IT lol

520 mi range option is a game-changer, IMO.

Range is the holy grail in EVs.

I'd like to see how the yoke works, but the X is looking more and more like a vehicle to go to Mars rather than Costco. If only they made an X-variant with more cargo space, we'd be all in.

When’s the last time TSLA had a red week? Been awhile it seems.

Obviously the results are rigged.

Did you know that some people managed to trade the stock before the market opened???

I demand a recount!

TSLA was going to "crush" earnings, eh?

They were predicting GAAP earnings at $0.72 per share and they crushed it to $0.24? That is worse than last quarter, which was predicted $0.89 and actual $0.27. Yes, revenue was better, but I note that the predicted Q1 2021 revenue is lower, at 9.8 versus 10.7 this quarter.

Full year 2020 GAAP earnings:
2020 Q4 $0.24
2020 Q3 $0.27
2020 Q2 $0.10
2020 Q1 $0.02

A whopping $0.63/share for a ... HEY, TSLA broke the $800/share barrier today ... whoops ... going the wrong direction.

$793.53/$0.63 = P/E = 1,259, down from something like 1,719 yesterday.

No worries. I am just having a FUNdamental analysis. Carry on.

Revenue
2020 Q4 $10.74B
2019 Q4 $7.38B

45.5% year-over-year Q4 increase

Earnings
2020 Q4 $0.24
2019 Q4 $0.11

118.18% year-over-year Q4 increase.

Fixed your flawed "FUNdamental" analysis.

And please let's not mask your true feelings as you so eloquently describe in your post in the "Portfolios for Long Term Investors" thread:

Perhaps it would be best for you not to pontificate in this thread and take your own advice, but I won't use such "colorful" terms to describe you.
