What miracle are the Dems going to do to cut the price of oil??
What would Kerry have done to avoid the 'oil bubble'?

Have you ever heard of supply and demand and worlwide economy?

OK the first Bush wasn't so bad.

I have to admit this is a little scary, especially since the CNBC Fast Money dudes have been predicting oil is a bubble about to burst.

Time to max out the 401Ks and cross your fingers.

Did you mean cash out 401K instead of max out 401k ?

Obama's hope and change mantra may be comfortable for many, but unless he quickley gets a solid, knowledgeable, and pragmatic staff to run his administration which is geared to deal with current issues at hand and not daydream, his tenure will be miserable despite the best of intentions. If these stupid analysts wouldn't support bullish outlooks on oil (some guy from Morgan Stanley said oil could be $150 by July 4th, Goldman Sachs saying oil could be $200 in 2 years, etc) and instead gave bearish outlooks, how different the scenarios would be!

I bet they're probably investing in oil though.

I started taking the bus to work this week for the first time since I was in college. My area has a free bus into the city, and with gas going to $8 a gallon by Fall, my laptop will feel better than a steering wheel for the indefinite future.

FWIW some cities have no transit at all; I live in one of them.

The question is: Should you drive 16 miles each way to earn $5.85/hr?
