Many said Melton faked his death to escape possible prosecution, plus he died on the night of the 2009 Jackson Mayoral Election, and was headed out of the door as he had been disqualified to run again by the Jackson Democratic Municipal Executive Committee.

Lumumba's death was a surprise to everyone, but most likely he had just fallen ill. I personally do not think there was a conspiracy of any kind against Lumumba, because first of all the man hadn't even been mayor of Jackson that long to make any enemies.

Melton was there plenty and made PLENTY of enemies over the course of his term as mayor of Jackson.[quote]

In order for Melton's death to be a conspiracy, all of Jackson's media outlets would have to be in on it.

Well I don't think there is a conspiracy surrounding Frank Melton's death, I was just saying what some people thought at the time of his death. Melton & Lumumba both just fell ill at the wrong time and sadly passed away due to their illnesses.
