I think it depends a lot on who makes the comment. She said the guy was 50+. It can also be embarrassing to have it pointed out that we're trying to get attention. We'd rather think we're just getting the attention without making any effort.

I normally wouldn't normally dress so frumpily for an open call, but it was a corporate place, it was cold and I figured good makeup and hair would make up for it.
