I asked things like
Who is the immediate supervisor for this position and who does this person report to.
Is this job (the job is in academia) funded by hard money or soft money?
How many people work for this group and how many would be on my team?
When I start this job what can I expect to happen as far as on the job training.
How long on average does it take for the blood work to come back? (my job required immunization for Rabies and a titer before I was allowed to be fully involved) Aka When can I start/ what is the hiring process for this position?
Can you describe what an average day on the job would entail?
What supplemental education will I be required to acquire?
I was extremely interested in the job so the interviews took up al of the allotted time and then some. Which is probably part of why I got hired.
