Just a late-night postscript to those who continue to either feed TVSG or ridicule him or dun him as a troll and this is merely my own personal observation, so don't be jumping all over me. If he is a troll then he's a very clever one and for that I will salute him if he's ever outed as such.

If he really is a troll then he obviously has way too much time on his hands and is an incredibly insensitive boor who fails to realize the real hardships that so many unemployed are going through right now.

If he really is what he claims he is through his many posts, i.e. a 33 year old former youth counsellor, then a "gulp" is in order from all quarters. When penned in with a question he both dissembles and diversifies, completely ignores those who question him and segues into an OT response and then gets really testy when the challenge reaches some point in his psyche which results in his demonstrating via a hasty response a rather bad and deep-seated and unresolved anger problem.

Where face value is concerned, he strikes me as a bit of a dip who doesn't have a clue where interpersonal relationships are concerned. On a second level he seems to have a problem with authority and also has a superiority complex.

According to him, the job interviewers are all messed up, the headhunters and employment specialists are all charlatans and unworthy of his precious time and all this continues to be quite amusing to a degree except that this sort of profile he''s evidenced might also be dynamite.

He continues to post and documents every detail and slight from the topcoat to the dress pants and the seating to the time to get up in the morning and the Manhattan meeting with a whole bunch of, "very important people" which I can only assume came to nought (otherwise TVSG would have been bragging about it but all he offered was that his feet got sore!)

I think as long as he continues to be fed by posters who latch onto his threads and don't go to his CD profile and really research all of his posts then all will be well.

I'm starting to see him now in a bit of a different light. Cheers!

Excellent post STT. It has dawned on me very early on that TVSG has taken on a persona that is highly improbable in the real world. As such, I have come to the conclusion that he enjoys playing the role and bait well-meaning, however, innocent responders to his posts. So until the newbies catch on, the rest of us can get out the popcorn and watch as the soap opera continues to play.

I agree STT, with you that T.V. guy likes to be the center of attention, plus some of the other things you pointed out...but

t.v. guy has prompted some of your funnier comments...

I have balled up screaming with laughter at some of your pointed repartees.. as well as a few other posters one liners...

truly funny!!

but at the same time, I imagine that there are guys who actually worry about life as much as t.v. guy.....and yes,

his major problem is that he poses a question and then doesn't listen to the answers...or if he does, his responses don't give that impression....

or never says thanks and shuts up....it is like his questions never get answered....they have a life of their own, never to die and never to be answered to his satisfaction...

but I have to admit to laughing a great deal, reading the responses to his ring around the rosy life unenduring questions...;-)

I know it's only been a day but I was just wondering does a additional posting mean my resume just didn't do it for them?

Well Sam...none of us are perfect...an i personally find t.v. guys comments humourous, sooooo tell me how would you answer this question or advise this person???

It's difficult to advise someone who seems to make a career out of asking others what to do. Can he really be so completely helpless in the effort to find a job? You get up off your butt (and if that means watching a little less sports on TV, well, perhaps one might consider employment some kind of priority) and you answer every ad, follow every lead, and get your resume out there.

Check out his other thread where he thinks he's going to cancel an interview, largely because he doesn't prefer the neighborhood where the outfit is located. How many unemployed people actually think they have such a luxury?

Does the fact that you need a job offset the location in one of your less favorite parts of the city? (Hint: there's something wrong if the answer to that question is "No.")

Frankly, you shouldn't be cancelling any interviews unless you have a written offer on the table - regardless of how you don't "prefer" the neighborhood. How well a interview goes is all subjective. You might think it went well, but the interviewer might have a difference of a opinion.

That interview which is in the part of town I don't like is next Thursday. If I don't hear anything from the two employers I'm interviewing this week by next wednesday, I will still go to that Interview in that part of the city i don't like. If I get a job offer by next wednesday, then I won;t have to go
