I'm sorry if it's considered against the rules on here to bump old threads, but I was just wondering this very topic. I admittedly have some internal resistance against this hope for the Mashiach to come soon. But then I realized....I only know a small amount of information about what that entails. And some of the descriptions posted in this thread already have lifted my outlook on it.

So, any new findings on this topic? I will try to look further into this as well.

Also, semi-related, does the end of the diaspora really matter without the Mashiach being here? If Jews start physically regathering in the land of Israel, how is that "better" than the status quo? (Maybe this should be its own thread, but I feel they're connected topics.)
