So are there any bounds in which the Rabbi of an ultra orthodox sect can't make decisions? So long as it does not violate any of the mitzvahs, tanakh, talmud , etc.

The stuff that pruzhany is posting is pretty eye opening. How come people within the ultra orthodox community aren't speaking out against their fellow sects?

The only one's speaking out are those of who have left. And then we get ostracized for bringing the truth out into the light.

Here's a link for further reading for the open minded.

I'm personally a little crunchy and careful about what I eat. I also stay away from soy because of the hormones. Not concerned about the gay thing...just the cancer thing. :-)

Because those within the community know the truth and do not get base their protests on left wing media propaganda.

Given the first post in the thread and the stated affinity for Reform Judaism, I'm pretty sure the OP is using "ger" as in a convert to Judaism ( Conversion to Judaism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) rather than as a member of the Hasidic dynasty.

Because those within the communities are taught (brainwashed) from birth to fear the outside. Thus what is considered the norm for them in reality is not the norm for others outside of the communities. And as stated by TFF in other threads, they know nothing about left wing media as it is not kosher for them to even hear it. They only read what they are allowed to read and see what they're allowed to see.
