Muslim majority countries that are secular (Turkey, Marocco, Lebanon, etc.) all have Saturday-Sunday weekend while those under Islamic state often have Thursday-Friday or Friday-Saturday.
Indeed Israel planned to make Sunday part of a weekend as well but Muslims in the area didn't like it because they said Israel is in the middle east, not a western country.

If you want to cover workweeks and weekends then IMO create a new thread for it, as what Muslim countries have nothing to do with Judaism.

Lol you're funny... When you cannot explain yourself and people show accuracy and facts you have nothing to reapond but telling me to go back to original topic when you started off-topic and brought Christianity and weekend situation in.
Another thing of note is that the concept of "weekend" is new - an invention of labor laws that came in the 20th century. Talking about the weekend in a historical context loses meaning before the industrial revolution and industrial reforms.

If you need to discuss workweeks, we've already been there:
Not true. Sunday was chosen because it was the day when Jesus Christ was resurrected, and also to distinguish Christianity from Jews and Judaism.
Early Christianity had the Sabbath on Saturday. It was changed few centuries after when the Roman Empire converted to Christianity.
Do you know when Sunday, or the first day begins?...On Saturday at sundown...According to the gospels, the women went to the tomb when it was dark on the first day and found the tomb empty...
You see that website is not a valid source... Most of it is inaccurate.
Inaccurate according to who?...
