I am coming from Philadelphia and am wondering if there are parks where people play basketball pick up games at? Any help would be appreciated.

I would bet that there are some really good pick up games at the various YMCA's around town and I believe there is some kind of Rec league basketball around town that is suppose to be very competetive

sermon center 8163257370 thurs 1:30-4:30 $1 ask someone to be there guest.
24 hour fitness indep. Must be member around 4:30
Bunshu park off truman rd sundays around 3:30, 4:00
Blue springs- blue springs park, blues spring hs east park, both night courts

North kc
North kc rec center off of armour rd. $6,$7 for a day pass

overland park/olathe area
Ward parkway, 24 hour fitness
State line park
Antioch park across from police station
135th & switzer by golf course, night court.

For the most part, I see basketball courts going unused but a lot of parks have them and I occassionally see people playing games on Saturday afternoons.
