Yep. One of the window clings came with my Friends of the Nelson pass.

I also like the Bloch building at the Nelson. When I moved to KC, it had just opened, and some people were not fans of its modern lines next to the classical structure of the main building. I like the contrast, myself. I like how its integrated into the slope of the hill. And I love how it glows from within at night.

Shuttlecocks are awesome and a part of KCMO's culture and identity now. Lots of cities have art similar to the Shuttlecocks. Skystations, the "pipes" sculpture at crown center. All great. Now the video boards at the Sprint Center? Flying people? Never cared for that. Don't hate it, but just not a fan.

I don't love them, but they don't enormously bother me, either. Overall, I don't think the Sprint Center is especially attractive, but its different and attentiongrabbing. Of more modern designs downtown, I like the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts much better, though.

This also means that they can aquire more art and bring more depth and breadth to the collection. Which is a very good thing.
