I am moving out there soon. I was focusing on the Platte City and Liberty school district area to live. The preschool I found over where you are looking is a brand-new, still being built preschool called Great Beginnings Preschool. As of a few weeks ago they still had spots open. The school is ran by the Platte school district. It is 4 days a week. Call them for more info at: 816-858-7001. Good luck.

I live near Zona Rosa and my oldest child went to preschool at Sunbeams which is in the Platte Woods United Methodist Church on NW Prairie View Road. I loved the program. Great director. Good balance of learning and fun. If we stay in this area, I will send my youngest to that preschool too.

My daughter has spent two years at the Clay-Platte Montessori school which is on Waukomis Drive in Kansas City North and we have had a good experience with it.

My daughter is going to start Kindergarten in the fall and she is already reading well, can count to a hundred, can do simple math, and many other things that other kids her age cant do. I would definately recommend checking it out.
