Heres one for you geniuses out there.

There is a house at 829 E College that looks suspiciously like it was once a small railroad depot. Does anyone know if that is the case? My information is that the streetcar once ran out that far, but I can't believe they would have had a depot of this size, especially there. 'Tis a puzzlement!

Too late, you done woke me up!

None of the maps in my collection show a RR along that section. The nearest one was the short-lived streetcar line that ran up Liberty to College then east continuing east on TC Lea, terminating just east of Kiger. It only ran a few years.

Perhaps the house in question was at one time an automotive service station. In days of old US 24 Highway ran on College. I envision gas pumps street-side with service bays on the lower level entered from Frederick.
