Dodge City is not a destination, just a "drive through". Stop and see Boot Hill just to say you did. In season you can go for a stage coach ride. Across from Boot Hill is the Kansas Teachers Hall of Fame. In the Boot Hill parking lot is Applebees. Stop for lunch, see the "sights" then move on. Dodge used to be nice, but Garden City has really outdone Dodge for shopping and dining.
