It happened again! Our governor was in town yesterday for a photo op. This time he is seen handing over a check for just short of $2,000,000 for brownfield remediation of the old abandoned hospital among 2 other checks he gave out. This was an EPA grant which was applied for. Local officials were there as well as our representative to the state legislature.

The article listed people who helped make this possible including Mitch McConnell. The governor was not mentioned as someone who helped in receiving the grant money. Maybe he did play a role, I don't know. Perhaps the EPA sends the grant money to the governor's office and then the governor distributes the money. It's just rather odd, he was here for a photo op, yet there was no written mention of what role he played if any. Mitch McConnell who did play a role, did not stop by for a photo op.

Getting back to point, my belief is, that men died so that I could vote, and it is a major priviledge to do so...I don't know, I just feel very patriotic about it...

They'll have brownfields to clean up and revegetate for 100 years or more with all those mountaintop removal coal mines in the state.

Yes indeed, how quickly people forget or just do not pay attention....
this guy did not do anything to create a job, and so so so many people in Kentucky lost their businesses, b/c he had to go along with all the other dems....

not all businesses came back, though, and it's a shame....I feel so bad for them

Someone said Andy Beshere created jobs....he didn't create jobs, what he did was create incentives for companies to come into Kentucky....

Micorvast a China Based Company who has not even been fully vetted is moving to Hopkinsville, KY and opening a plant, the Energy Department rescinding that $200 million grant, where is that money coming from? 3 Guesses? “And local leaders are not saying much about this. And anytime local leaders are not saying a lot, there is more to be said.”

While government funding is cut, at least for now, for Microvast in Kentucky, just across the border in Tennessee, Microvast is expanding.

Construction is currently underway in Clarksville, Tennessee. A sign with a rendering of planned construction shows just how large the whole complex is expected to be. The project is well underway, despite criticism in Washington, and residents who feel left in the dark.

hmmmm, is anyone wondering where all the waste materials from that factory is going?
designs, develop and manufacture battery components and systems primarily for electric commercial vehicles and utility-scale energy storage systems (ESS).

So what will they be doing with all the toxic wastes? Oh yes, creating 600 jobs in Hopkinsville, KY
