Reporters generalize the extent of the ice storm in Ky and don't really pinpoint exactly where the storm hit. They talk about Murry and western Ky.
Did it hit places like Ohio, Butler or Warren Counties? How about Davies?
I did see Grayson County mentioned in one report.
Any first hand reports from any of these counties, espeically Butler, would be appreciated.

Go to WBKO - HomePage Bowling Green Kentucky News there's updates there about some counties you mention. It's a TV station out of Bowling Green.

The storm basically affected over half of the state. The southern part of KY is fine though, we had ice on the trees but it wasn't much and it melted quickly last week.

I'm in eastern Kentucky, and we're still under snow and ice, though it has started to melt some today. Funny thing is, we've not been mentioned in a single thing about the storm and how it hit Kentucky. The news stories are always about the Western side of the state.

It affected all of those counties, Warren less than the others but still had trees down and power outages in the county. Now there is flooding in Butler County and some areas of Warren County, not usre about Grayson since it is melting. The Green River is way up.

Why has Obama not named the affected areas in Kentucky a disaster area?

I was able to get hold of some relatives in Butler County. From their report it's like a bomb exploded in the county.
I feel for you folks going through this.
Looking on the bright side, I bet there is lots of firewood available for the taking.

Wishing you and friends and relatives the very best as you recover from this bruising winter storm. Wish I could send some FL sunshine your way. We are thinking and praying for all our Arkansas friends.
