Well I'm heading to Wisconsin Wednesday morning. I have a few things to tend to when I get back that I need to do before I go back to work next week. I had a great stay here and Tennessee has proved to be a possible place to relocate to some day. I loved Roan Mountain!

Some cities I personally like
Elizabethton
Bluff City
Roan Mountain
Shady Valley is beautiful.

I never did make it to JC. I will have to visit next time I get down there. I was however able to make it through downtown Bristol which was actually kind of cool. The Wachovia Bank is big! Kingsport was nice too....

Next time I get down I would like to stay for more than a couple of days. When you have a 15 hour drive ahead of you it isn't exactly easy to get down here quick. That and airfare at the Tri-Cities airport is high!

Maybe I can do like 9-10 days next time I come down.

Thanks again, I met some very friendly folks and the southern hospitality really showed. I'm going to miss the view of the mountains from my hotel room.

See ya next year!

Have a safe trip home. Glad you could make it down. Don't worry about JC, it's like a lot of other cities around. Some of the places you went, Shady Valley, Roan Mountain, are beautiful and unique.

JoshB, I wish I'd been as intrepid an adventurer when I was your age. Major kudos to you for planning this trip and making it happen!

Even if NE Tenn. isn't your home down the road, I'm glad you got a little taste of what this area has to offer. Roan Mountain's a truly special place, don't you think?

Take care & come back soon!

Thanks Austin,

Kamoshika,
I'm sure your parents were happy that you didn't drive across the country like I did though.lol My parents were worried but I knew that someday I would be glad I went out and explored America.

Thanks again everyone and I will chime back in when I get home, Thursday morning?
