Default pics, video clips of Rocky Fork in Unicoi County

After reading about Rocky Fork's recent sale and protection from potential development, I decided to explore the area a bit on New Year's Day. This part of Rocky Fork is near Flag Pond and less than 2 miles from I-26, but it feels and looks much more remote. Even in the dead of winter it's still a beautiful place. Sorry about the poor video quality; they were taken w/ my point-and-shot digital camera.

Great shots! Also inspired, we went up that way too. Actually we decided to go the same trail you did, Lower Higgins Creek off Temple Hill, and I didn't even see your shots before we left. How coincidental!

Wasn't nearly as cold today, so no icicles. Actually a really great day for a hike. And the falls are beautiful.
