With all of the health problems i've had in my life, starting before I was even born, if I am able to wake up tomorrow, I am thankful.... when i was a lot younger i had set a goal to live to see 18....i was so sick as a kid that people thought i wouldn't live that long or would be very sick along the way. I have some physical setbacks but I'm doing good at 24....i have two living grandparents that are 90 so that is my goal to make it to as well. If i succeed, great. If i don't, i'm still thankful for every day i've been blessed with. It's wonderful to see stories of people living such long healthy lives... it gives hope to people like me.

I work in a nursing home, and there are several women over 100. (Women definitely outlive men!) We have one woman who will be 107 (!!) in June! She is alert and reads the newspaper daily. My aunt recently died at age 100. I can't imagine living that long!
