I can imagine. I hear she's quite a go-getter.

I really, REALLY wish there was a law against using cell phones w/out a handsfree device. I've nearly been hit by too many morons trying to talk on their phone and drive at the same time. My husband was STOPPED at a RED LIGHT, and he was rear ended by some dumb girl yacking away on her cell phone at 40 mph. He got a broken nose and a lifetime of sinus problems out of the deal. It's ridiculous.

My wife was hit by a guy who turned directly in front of her while on the phone. Some people are just clueless.

I'm afraid it's going to get worse with all the iPhones being sold. We won't just have to worry about idiots talking and texting. They will be web browsing too.

Cellphones have a place, but I have yet to discover where that place is. LOL
In all seriousness, hands on is the only way to go if you have to use one while driving. My husband passed a woman on the interstate the other day, reading a book while she was driving. I was with a friend one day when she decided she had to write out a check while she was driving. I was like, ummm, doesn't your bank have a counter or a table you can write on?? The clueless ones will always find something unsafe to do while driving.

Yesterday, my wife and I were talking about what we have seen people do while driving. I mentioned seeing someone reading a book and seeing somebody else watching a movie on a laptop up on their dash. But she topped me with seeing a guy folding his laundry as he drove.

This further brings to mind Eckhart Tolle's book, A New Earth.....focus on the moment. We are all multitasking our lives away. Nothing is that important. Just breathe.

My personal favorite is the folks I see talking on the cell phone, smoking a cigarette, and turning around to talk to kids in the back seat....while "driving".
