i will be moving to las cruces the first week of august. i am going up in july to secure an apartment. because i'm new to las cruces, and because i've never rented before, i have a couple questions:
in las cruces, what's my best bet for finding an apartment? should i wing it and drive around, looking for availabilities, or contact a realtor? i fell in love with mesilla and am looking for a one bedroom in that area.
i looked through some online listings, and the same few big apartment complexes kept popping up, so i gave up on that.
We found a really nice and cheap apartment near the mall on craigslist.. the owner seems very flexible with the lease as well...I would definitely check out CL.
