We live in las cruces north and west of Sonoma ranch.
I have not been able to get reliable reception from my roof top antenna, even though I use an antenna amplifier. is there anything that will help?????

Closer you get to the mountains the stronger the antenna you need. Check out this website AntennaWeb - Home, it even calculates using elevations. I found it very useful. Since may last post here I retired and got by for two years on internet (comcast) based tv like netflix and itunes as well as my rooftop. No commercials is blissful.

Just got dtv back this year for the football season. On a sad note, dtv's customer service is not as good as it used to be.
