Hey guys,

I am looking to book this mansion for a weekend: G1 Estate - 3160 Belcastro St. - Las Vegas, NV. 89117. It is owned by a man named Gregory Yamas, have any of you heard of him or about the rental listing? I wanted to see if anyone has heard because I feel like the price they are offering for such nice accommodations is a little too good to be true. Thanks for your help!

I have to say a pretty spiffy place, but.. $4500 for three nights?
you can get a penthouse suite on the strip for that, and have money left over for gambling!

My issue is that I need accommodations for a huge group of people, probably around 50, and I have yet to find a place that I could rent out for that many people

Built in 1984...5400 legal SF. May have illegal extensions...

The weekend rental is almost certainly illegal. Not your problem but you can get hassled by neighbor etc. That is in Section 10...the neighbors will be very hostile. Check with the people renting it and see if they can give you a straight story.

Has a 1.2 million mortgage worth under $500K. Foreclosure or short would appear likely though maybe they can make enough to carry it.

Thanks for your help. Could you explain what section 10 is? Sorry I haven't been to Vegas too often.

Fancy older neighborhood. Half acres and bigger. Strictly residental. There are a few of these party places around but the neighborhood is always after them.

I have notice allot of highend homes that were purchased as foreclosures and short sales showing up on craigs list as vacation rentals, which like Olecapt said are not legal for nightly rentals, it' will be interesting to see what happens when the city gets and county gets wind of this activity and these vacation home rentals will be shut down.

Try looking on VRBO.com. You might find something to fit your needs that may be more legitimate with attached reviews.

Absolutely too good to be true. Don't get me wrong, the actual house is amazing, but when Greg Yamas steals the 1.5k deposit, stops returning calls, and falls off the face of the earth, it tends to lose its wow factor. I filed a small claims and have still yet to see my money back. A simple search will bring up other negative feedback on the property, as well as a criminal record for the owner. DO NOT RENT!!
