Anyone that has moved to or purchased a condo in the past 6 months or so. Wondering if you are happy with your move/purchase?
Where did you buy?
What was the price of your condo (if you do not mind saying)?

I am looking at buying a place next month, just want to narrow down my search. There is just so much out there. I am looking in the 70K or less price range.

Cheers,

I am in the process of trying to buy a condo at Coronado Palms for around 60K. I like the area.

We bought a Condo in Henderson 89012 for 55k. Just wish we could visit more often!

The Las Vegas Valley is such a nice place to live! Hopefully I wont get hate mails this time for saying that!

Have a nice day!

Daniel

You'll only receive hate mail from those who can't afford to, even in this depressed housing market, buy a home. If they can't be happy, no one should and they'll do everything they can on a public chat board to steer you away from Vegas. It's human nature, misery loves company type of thing, lol.

Have fun Daniel with your new place, and best of luck! Enjoy!

And to echo Macgeek, I bought a house here last fall (in Centennial Hills). Living in Vegas is great.

...until you see a better and cheaper house comes on for sale across the street from you.

Prices in my particular neighborhood have been stable for about a year (+/- 5%), from what I gather from the Clark County Assessor's website.

Honestly, with what I'm paying for my mortgage, I really don't care if someone gets a better deal. I'm *well* within my means. If I'd taken out a mortgage that stretched myself thin and then saw someone get a considerably better deal, yeah, I'd probably be pretty jealous. But with the price I got, you could cut my mortgage in half and it wouldn't really make a difference in my standard of living.
